We respectfully acknowledge that the ACC Bugaboo Section, is located and recreates on the unceded territories of the Ktunaxa Nation and the Secwepemc (Shuswap) people. We also recognize the land as home to the Métis Nation of British Columbia.
We honour and respect the enduring presence and deep traditional knowledge, cultures, and practices of the Indigenous peoples who have cared for these lands and waters for thousands of years. We are grateful for the opportunity to live, learn, and work on these beautiful lands, and we commit to ongoing learning, respect, and collaboration with the Indigenous communities.
The Alpine Club of Canada is a registered Amateur Athletic Association and a registered Canadian charity (Registration No: 10670 4182 RR0001). The ACC’s US ACC Foundation can accept charitable donations from donors living in the United States. We will issue a charitable tax receipt for eligible donations of $20 or more.
